Some homes are getting multiple offers but buying activity has slowed. This week I wrote an offer on a house, there was one counter before the offer was accepted by both parties. The entire process . . not including the house hunting part took about 4 hours.
There are more homes on the market today than there were last spring and summer. If you had trouble finding a few months ago or got tired of dealing with multiple offer situations now is a really great time to go house hunting.
