Sometimes sellers ask me how often I advertise homes for sale in the newspaper. Honestly it isn’t something I do very often. According to a recent report:
I would be asking agents how they market homes on the internet. I would want to know if they will use professional photography or their iPhone. Instead of asking agents how many open house they will do I would ask them what their online marketing strategy is for your home and how they are going to get people to notice it and buyers to want to see it in person and make an offer.
If I list your home this evening I can have it on the internet before the newspaper hits the streets and one of the 90 percent of home buyers on the internet can find it Newspaper advertising isn’t dead but it is no longer the primary or most effective way to advertise homes for sale.
