The Keycycle Piano

This is a part of a project called pianos on parade.  There are twenty pianos in public places around the metro area.  They have been decorated by by local artists.  This one is outside of the Ordway in downtown St. Paul.  The parade was organized by an organization called keys 4/4 kids.

The piano at the Ordway was decorated by local artist Joy Liberman and it is called “keycycle”  Amazingly it is being played on a regular basis.

  1. This is such a neat idea. I would worry about them being removed however. But the bright artwork really makes them stand out. I don’t play and would probably sit down to tinkle a few keys.
