The Landmark Center in downtown St. Paul always looked like it needed a piano.

This is a part of a project called pianos on parade. There are twenty pianos in public places around the metro area. They have been decorated by by local artists.

I have photographed four of the Pianos that are located downtown and have been patiently waiting for the plastic tarps to be removed from the piano in front of Travelers Insurance and the Piano on 7th Place in front of Park Square theater.

The Keycycle Piano

This is a part of a project called pianos on parade.  There are twenty pianos in public places around the metro area.  They have been decorated by by local artists.  This one is outside of the Ordway in downtown St. Paul.  The parade was organized by an organization called keys 4/4 kids.

The piano at the Ordway was decorated by local artist Joy Liberman and it is called “keycycle”  Amazingly it is being played on a regular basis.
