700

Should I menTypingtion that this is my 700th post?   I guess I just did.    Thanks for reading, there may even be a post in here somewhere without a typo in it. Wish I could figure out how to count the pictures, I am sure there are more than 1000, and some are good.

This would be a great opportunity to do a re-cap of the last 699 posts, and maybe include a list of awards, achievements and links to newspaper articles, interviews and podcasts that mention the blog.  I am proud of my accomplishments but this blog is for you, not for me and I would like you to keep coming back.  . . . a recap of 699 posts, I wonder how long that would take?

The very next post will be about St. Paul or about real estate, or maybe about both.  I just needed a pause here and would like to thank Erik Hare for his most excellent contributions.

If this blog had a tag line in would be:

Just keep typing and don’t forget to smile.

  1. Congratulations. Did you have another real estate blog before this blog?

  2. Thanks, Teresa! But you make me want to write good stuff that’s relatively brief. You’re selling the city I love, and I hope that we’re inspiring people out there to discover the joys of Saint Paul as much as you’ve inspired me to tell the stories.

700 sounds like an ominous number somehow. Perhaps there’s some magic in this, somewhere. Congrats on a great blog!

  3. Maureen – I had a personal blog for a few months before this one. This is the very first and origional st. paul real estate blog. Please don’t accept any imitations.

Erik – you help me stay focused. I think I need to get even more focused. I just can’t thanks you enough but we can’t sit here all day and thank each other. Jack and I will take you and Cristy out for dinner and then we can blog about it. We will have to bring doggie bags home for August and Daisy. 🙂

  4. Congrats, T!

I wish I could find more time to keep up half your pace!

[hoisting a margarita up in your honor]

  5. Wow, what a milsestone, hopefully not a millstone. You’re an inspiration to those of us struggling to get started. I think I can…

  6. Way to go T,

You inspire so many of us.

Thank you for opening your photo album and your heart to so many.

    Now, on to 1000 !!!!!!!!!

  7. 1000? You can’t make me. 🙂 Maybe if I have a margarita with Doug or a few . . . did you know that it takes one dey stroke to delete a typepad blog? just kidding. I am smiling and typing.

  8. Way to go T!

    You are definitely an inspiration!

  9. woweee zoweeee… I just crossed 50 – steamrolling my way to 100 – I’m inspired by 700! Keep writing – you may be writing for your local audience, but keep in mind that you’re a great teacher for those of us in other parts of the country who also write local content for local audiences. Keep chugging! (oh, and definitely smiling!)

  10. I’m sitting here trying to figure out how long it will take me to get one of my baby blogs to 100. I’m grateful I started blogging because it introduced me to you! I’m fortunate to count you among my friends, T. Your fan, Lisa

  11. Remember folks, and especially the lovely Lisa, quality counts for something too. 🙂

  12. I’m a few days late to the party but I want to offer my congratulations on hitting the big seven double zero!

(Sorry – I couldn’t find a Hallmark card for blog milestones)

Though I’m not in your area (I’m in Richmond, VA actually), I’ve enjoyed reading your posts for some time. I’ve found both your perspective and your means of covering the market to be a refreshing approach.

I’ve enjoyed your work so much, in fact, that I’ve been inspired to work on a similar project locally.

Thanks for the inspiration and keep up the good work in St. Paul.

  13. Tripp – I think I will need to design a card for such an occasion. I am thinking in about a year there will be a 700 club of sorts. 🙂 Thanks so much for your kind comments, and I will be keeping an eye on that blog of yours.

  14. That’s a lot of blogging, congratulations.
