10 Good men

The award will be given to the top ten male real estate or mortgage blog writers.  This is an unsual event because the criteria used to choose the winners will be explained, which is unusual in blogdom when it comes to awards:

1. The blog writer must be working in the mortgage or real estate industry,  as a professional who works directly with the consumer.
2. The blog must be consumer oriented.
3. The blog should be low in ego.  (subjective, but I am looking for writing that does not focus on the writer or his accomplishments in blog writing)
4. The blog should be one that has been in exsistance for at least six months with at least 4 posts per week.  (I may cut this requirement in half if all other requirements are met or exceeded.

Why men only?  It doesn’t sound fair, but there is a reason.   Last year the Sellsius blog gave an award to the top 10 women bloggers in the industry.  I honor those women with a link to the post, they are the best women blog authors  in the industry for 2006, and 2007.   I thought it would be only fair to have an award for the men in the real estate and mortgage industries who write for consumers.

Five of the winners have already been identified, including one who does not meet criteria number 4.   Please help choose the other 5 by leaving your nomination in the comments section or by sending an email.

The results will be published on Wednesday January 10th with a write up about each blog and it’s author.
