Always fun to go to the Winter carnival parade which is being held today from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. The parade starts on West 7th street at Smith avenue and goes East to Rice Park in downtown St. Paul. Always a good time and it will be warm this year. It could get up to 40 so you might want to lose the winter coat and wear shorts and flip flops. I remember attending one parade a couple of years ago where wind chills made a lovely 2 below zero feel like 20 below yet people came to see the parade as we always do.
