Minnesota Chic

This post was inspired by Pat Kitano who lives in San Diego California.  He can not imagine what a Minnesota winter might feel like.   He thinks the reason Minnesota women are good-looking is because of the colder climate.

While it is true that we are smarter, and maybe better looking and according to Garrison Keillor our children are above average, no one knows if it is all caused by the colder climate.  Pat sent an email yesterday, indicating that when “Minnesota Chic” is typed into Google, a link to something I wrote comes up first.  It actually comes up 10th, making me wonder why so little has been written on this topic.

I made this little film loop called Minnesota Chic, to show Pat Kitano the types of clothing a well-dressed Minnesota woman might wear during the winter.

Trackback to Teresa and my discussion that spawned Minnesota Chic…

Does everyone in America suffer from geography-centricity? Yes, we Californians will assume Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota are one big popsicle in winter… but San Diego has the best climate in America… and I live in cold damp San Francisco (be sure to bring that parka when you visit in the summer!)

Teresa, you are Minnesota Chic personalized!
