There isn’t anything like the Minnesota State Fair. It starts today and goes through labor day. I haven’t attended since 2019. There are people who go to the fair a few times every year I go once every few years.
Don’t get me wrong there is plenty to see and do. There are politicians, bands, and horses too. There is a lot to see and do, it is one of the largest fairs in the country, and in 2019 more than two million people attended.
The fair has an impact on local traffic too. I usually don’t drive to the fair I take advantage of the free bus ride from the closest state fair park and ride lot.
Much of the local news will be about the fair and from the fair.
