Minnesota made the news as a covid-19 hot spot

Covid-19 cases are on the rise in Minnesota and the hospitals are struggling to keep up. We made the national news yesterday with the highest infection rate per capita in the country.

We are working with clients who have Covid-19 even though they are fully vaccinated and work from home. They might now get sick but having Covid-19 makes everything a little more difficult.

Closings happen via computer or in parking lots through car windows or sometimes at home through a door or window.

If you are planning on moving check with the movers about their Covid policy. Some will not work with people who have Covid-19. I

Those vaccinations start to wear off after six months or so. I will be getting a booster shot next week. I have come into contact with at least two clients with Covid-19.

I am vaccinated and very careful and to be honest, at this point, I am not sure if I am frustrated or angry but I believe we are facing a few more years of pandemic and we won’t all get out alive.

This is just an observation but I have noticed over the last several months that plumbers, electricians, and inspectors rarely wear masks when they go into houses. I had someone in my house service the furnace and he did not wear a mask but put one on when I asked. We had a plumber in the house before we were vaccinated and he could only wear a maks with his nose hanging out.

I always wear a mask when I go into someone else’s house.  I wear a mask when I show houses and when I meet with clients in person even if they are vaccinated too.

People are still buying houses and everything else so at least there is that.

The Minnesota counties that have the highest COVID-19 rate per capita also have the lowest vaccination.  Isn’t that a strange coincidence?  Be careful out there!
