lite brite mural
Right here in St. Paul you can witness an attempt is made to break the Guinness World Record for the “Largest Picture Made of Lite-Brite.”
They call it an attempt but I think it is going to happen.
This giant art installation will be 12-feet tall by 24-feet long and filled with more than 520,000 Lite-Brite pegs. It will feature a mural created by award-winning Saint Paul artist Ta-coumba T. Aiken.
There is a free event at the Union Depot in downtown St. Paul starting at 3:00 PM and the official lighting ceremony will be at 7:00 PM.
This event is the kick off to forever St. Paul which will give a million dollar grant for an idea that will help make St. Paul Great. I guess the worlds largest lite brite display is just a start. The details of how to get the grant are on the Minnesota Open Idea website.
