Heritage Park
This is St. Paul’s newest city park located near Arcade Street on Phalen Parkway. It is also on the Bruce Vento regional trail that runs through Swede Hollow park and to Lake Phalen. This park has a wonderful shelter with electricity, public restrooms and several picnic sites with grills. It is also has loads of information about the history of the East Side of St. Paul on display complete with historic photographs. That is why it was named Heritage Park.
St. Paul is full of parks. Most people live near at least one. Some are on acreage and others are more like squares as they take up a city block or less.
What was there before? Isn’t St Paul more or less all accounted for, land-wise?
