It is Friday and Fridays are for fun even if they are Good Friday. I have a growing collection of bacon photos. Bacon is fun to photograph and is also a great ice breaker at social events.
Here is one of my latest shots. I take photos for the Minneapolis Saint Paul Social Media Breakfast group – better known as SMBMSP. I like to offer proof of bacon because bacon attracts participants and because there are bacon sponsors who pay for the bacon so that it is free and plentiful at each event. Bacon is a great marketing tool. Attendance at our Social Media Breakfasts is high.
I generally choose random strangers and ask them if they will be my hand model. I then try to get some candid close-up shots of bacon being removed from the serving pan.
If it were a buyers market I would recommend holding open houses and serving bacon. In today’s competitive sellers market buyers might want to consider offering bacon in addition to money to give them an advantage over other buyers.
