Xcel Center
I knew it when it was the Civic Center. I found an old photograph but it isn’t mine so I can only link to it. The reason why I don’t have any pictures of it is because it was ugly. There I said it.

Wow – good for you! Honesty in real estate.
We have a few turkeys like that out here in California – like the De Young Museum in San Francisco.
There was a lot of opposition to the recent remodel, but they did it anyway.

The de Young is an interesting one – I wasn’t fond of it at first (missed the old one) but have grown to like it more and more.
I find the interior spaces are very good … better than SFMOMA (which I like from the outside) and NY MOMA.
