Much of St. Paul is on the East side of the River but part of it is on the West side . . which is why it is called the West side. The pictures were taken in the Prospect Park neighborhood on the West Side. The area has beautiful historic homes. Part of the neighborhood is on the river bluff with views of downtown and the Wabasha street bridge.
There is a coffee shop in the area that is a favorite of mine becase it is like no other. Check out Jerabek’s New Bohemian Coffeehouse, on Winifred Street. They serve these wonderful poppy seed kolatchkes just like grandma used to make. The place has a kind of old world feel to it.
