Some businesses are easy to work with

HouseThis has been on my mind for a while now. Some businesses are easy to work with and others are not. My goal is to always be easy to work with. A simple phone call, text message, or email is all that it takes to start the process of working with me. I require minimal information to get started. I never send a survey.

Businesses with too many phone numbers or a phone number that is hard to find can be hard to work with. That is why I put mine to the right and toward the top of this site. If you call it I may answer immediately but if I can’t I will respond within two hours or less.

Sometimes businesses want their customers to use an app. I find that frustrating. Why do I need an app on my phone to order a sandwich when I can just use the company website that has an option to order a sandwich? Why do I need an app to report a power outage when I can do it using the browser on my phone?

There are too many apps competing for a place on my phone. If I need an app to buy something I will probably choose a company where I can buy the same thing without using an app.

Businesses have rules and procedures, but sometimes buying something and going through all of the steps is just too much. It is made worse when payment in full is required long before the merchandise arrives.

Sometimes businesses send the satisfaction survey before the product arrives. We know the survey is more important to the company than the product or customer service.

Doctor offices and healthcare clinics are often great examples. Getting care is complicated and noisy too with multiple text messages, reminders, health surveys, and satisfaction surveys.
