It is Friday and Fridays are for fun. I Felt a bit uninspired today so I looked back to see what I wrote on the last Friday of 2016:
“It is Friday and Fridays are for fun. I won’t have any trouble saying goodbye to 2016. It wasn’t all bad but I will always remember it as the year of the lie and some of the bad things that happened were so bad that it will be hard to remember the good when I look back.
I want to help make 2017 a year of truth which is going to be difficult in a post-literate society but if we all try we can see the truth even if it doesn’t support our ideology.
For me, this is the last workday of the year but I’ll be back in 2017. Happy New Year!”
Things have changed in the last year. The lies are still there but they are not as noticeable because they have become so common.
