During the pandemic, I took all of my continuing education classes online. Many of them were offered via ZOOM. Today for the first time since January 2020 I will be attending a class in person in a classroom. I will bring a mask just in case the room is crowded but I don’t think it will be.
It is hard to believe that it has been more than 3 years since I have been in a classroom or lecture hall. I was in a large conference room last spring with a few other people but I wore a mask most of the time.
The class will last about an hour and a half.
All Minnesota real estate licensees are required to take 15 hours of continuing education classes each year. The course must be completed by June 30th each year. There is always a kind of spring rush for CEU classes.
Years ago we were only allowed to take some of our classes online. Now we can take them all online and for the last three years I got all of my credits online. There is value in taking in-person courses and going to industry events and I look forward to doing more of that this year.
