How much is too much?

It is Friday and Fridays are for fun. I am wondering if I have too many house plants. I feel like I crossed a line. I have a wall of house plants in an upstairs bedroom and nine plants in the kitchen. Maybe the herbs don’t count because we eat them.

Right now 4 plants are blooming and one looks like it won’t live to see February. Two of the pants are too large to be lifted so I put them on these big round plant dollies.

There is an ivy plant that is growing up and around a window in the dining room. I keep clipping it off so that it doesn’t grow along the floor. I have a couple of low maintenance type plants in my office on a desk. There is a rubber tree plant next to the book case and another on top of the bookcase. I have umbrella plants and jade plants and Christmas cacti and cactus too. There is some aloe and African Violets.

I have some begonias blooming in the kitchen and some coleus too. The basil, rosemary and lavender will bloom eventually too. They will all go outside for the summer. I am not sure how many plants are too many plants so for now I will keep them all growing but I won’t add any more. They make great pets because they are quiet and they don’t poop or sleep on the furniture.
