Anyone who has read my blog can see that I use a lot of photos, or maybe they don't know that the photos are mine, well they are.  One of the best ways to explain  St. Paul is to show it to you through my photos.  When I started the blog I was told that pictures don't belong on blogs, but that was way back in 2005. I include a photo with every post and with all of that practice I think my photography skills have improved.

Some of the worst photos that can be found on the internet are in MLS systems nation wide. I am constantly working to improve my own interior shots. I am currently using a technique called HDR, High Dynamic Range Imaging. Here are some examples of my work.

I  take most of my own interior and exterior property shots when I list a home. I believe that great photos help sell a home. If I can't get the shots myself I hire a pro.

Frequently asked questions

What kind of a camera do I use?  Currently Canon digital rebel XT.  It will take photos in "point and shoot" mode but I don't think that is much fun.  I take my pictures in manual mode.  Camera's are important, but so are lenses.  My favorite is the 18-55 lens that came with the camera, but I also use a wide angle lens, mainly for interior property shots, and a small 50mm lens that I like to play with. These are my photos and people like to swipe them. I am happy to share my photos but I do require attribution, which means I need a link back to the photo and my name goes with the photo. I have sold some of them as prints, and others have been used on web sites.  Contact me if you would like to buy one.
