Cold Days, Warm Places

I was lucky on Friday.  I had to meet a client in Minneapolis and she was late.  The condos she wanted to see are near the  Walker Art Center.  It was cold out so I decided to go inside the conservatory.  A great place to be in the winter.  The sculpture is called "Standing Glass Fish", Can’t figure out why they gave it that name.

Another warm place, Gerten’s  Garden Center in Inver Grove Heights.  It is like taking a vacation.  If not for all the reminders of the upcoming holiday, I would ask them if I could move in.

  1. this photos should be taken only if its summer but then its great to have them even its winter

  2. It looks just like a fish, or were you being snide! lol. Walker sounds fun too. We have our recently rennovated Botanical Gardens and in the Winter it’s wonderful to go into the butterfly room. Makes you forget it’s Winter. Just like Walker I guess!

  3. Carole – it is a fish, I just thought the name was funny. The walker and the conservatory are fun places to go it really is like a vacation.

  4. Did you send some of your Minnesota cold air down to Florida – it’s 40 degrees here this morning!
