It is Friday and Fridays are for fun. In August I wrote about how I created a 2012 calendar featuring valves. Amazingly the calendar is selling as is my 2012 St. Paul calendar. (get yours now, avoid the rush buy early and often)
Taking pictures of valves, fire hydrants and what I call rusty urban hardware is an unusual hobby but I enjoy it and there is some evidence that it keeps me out of trouble. I used up my very best valve pictures for the calendar and I need to find more valves and fire hydrants to photograph. They need to be rusty and I prefer valves that are red and are on brick buildings.
If you know where I can find a valve that needs to be photographed for my 2013 calendar or for my amusement please let me know. The interesting valves are found in the older parts of town on commercial buildings.
