Fruit cake

Pecan_fruitcake_1It’s Friday and Fridays are for fun.

When it comes to holiday humor there isn’t anything funnier than a fruitcake, or is it nuttier than a fruitcake, I forget which.  In some circles it is a tradition to send fruitcakes to relatives and maybe co-workers that the gift giver does not like.

I happen to like fruitcake, and I am not making that up.  Most people do not like it at all.  I am going to leave this fruitcake on my blog for anyone who needs to send a last minute virtual Christmas gift.  Just email this post to someone who you think really deserves this beautiful fruitcake.  That way you can send the gift and the person who receives it will understand how you really feel and no food will actually be wasted.   Go ahead try it.

If I were going to do this fruitcake post right I would add a fruit cake joke right here.  I am not going to do that.  Since you are the person of the year, according to Time Magazine, you can supply the bad fruitcake jokes.  Please leave them in the comment section.  Keep in mind that this is a G rated family type blog that my young nieces and nephew sometimes read, so lets make sure these jokes are squeaky clean.

Have a wonderful weekend, I hope Santa is good to you this year!

  2. This is the worst fruitcake joke I know: Why do fruitcakes make ideal gifts? Because the Postal Service has been unable to find a way to damage them.

    Merry Christmas, Teresa!!
