Larry Cragun

Fridays are for fun so I thought I would talk about someone who is fun, that would be Larry Cragun of Issaquah Washington.   It is true that some of the people I meet on the internet are kind of weird and maybe Lar is too but we have become friends.

We met last summer when I called him, and then he called me, and then I called him, you get the picture.   He found a post on my blog about a box elder bug, and thought the bug was cute.  I tried to explain to him that having box elder bugs in the house and the icky brown stuff they leave on the back porch is not cute.

Lar would not listen and started a feature on his blog, every Saturday he writes a post called bugs undressed.  Saturday is a low readership day so we bloggers kind of go for the low hanging fruit.  He tried to stop undressing bugs but found that traffic to his blog declined and he got tired of the notes from me asking for my bug, so he started it up again and now it has become his trade mark.  (I would have thought his traffic would have increased with out the bugs since most of them are truly hideous)

Larry makes me laugh but he also writes to the consumer and has been undressing, and in some cases dressing down the mortgage industry, if you have not seen his mortgage and real estate blogs, go take a look: www.mortgagesundressed.com and www.realestateundressed.com.

Early next year Larry Cragun and I are going to work together on some posts that won't be for fun, or for Fridays, but will be informative and innovative.  If I have my way there won't be any insects in them, but who knows Lar might sneak some in.

Here is a gift for Larry, a little late for Christmas but it is the though that counts right?

Thanks for your support, help, encouragement and humor, and thanks for bugging me every Saturday.  Blog on!
