Virtual Pumpkin Carving Contest

Thank you all for entering the first annual St. Paul Real Estate Blog virtual pumpkin carving contest, and maybe even the first contest of it's kind.  Using the paint program in windows to carve a pumpkin is quite a challenge, and it takes courage to enter this unique event.   As I suspected the talented writers and bloggers that I visit on the internet each day have artistic talent as well.

Please vote for the pumpkin you like the best.  Voting starts at 12:00 A.M. on October 27th and ends at 11:59 PM on October 30th.  The winning entries will be announced on Halloween.

Teresa, I can only see ten pumpkins. You said you had 40. Where are the other 30? or were you just pulling my leg so I would laugh and laugh and laugh!

    Voting problem.

Thanks Maureen. It worked fine on another web site. It is a problem with typepad that I can't resolve right now so I put in a link. I have used this before on my site without any problem.

They're all so good, it's hard to pick. I love the late night entry's mouth! Creativity is not dead among REALTORS! My grandson's entry didn't make it because his mom was too busy with follow up medical stuff this week. Oh, well, there's always next year! Shall we take bets on how many entries there will be then? ;-)

I am not taking any more entries and am thrilled to have received any
at all. Tomorrow I am doing a follow up post on last Saturday's post
and will be posting an excellent pumpkin that is done in paint. I did have
three rejects done by graphic artists using expensive software.

Thanks for voting, I'll check it out.

  6. Caron Mosey

What a fun contest! Very creative submissions from everybody, and it was indeed hard to vote. Didn't get my pumpkin in on time. :(

  7. Kristal Kraft

It's nice to know Mary McKnight is the winner, besides being lovely, she has many talents; blonde, bright, body building blogging pumpkin carver. She's so easy to hate, but I think she's great!

  8. Maureen Francis

I think they are all winners!

Fun idea Teresa. I hope you do it again next year. I will get to work now...

  9. Avram Lavinsky

I run a website with a very sophisticated pumpkin carving and pumpkin painting Flash application which we developed in-house. If you're interested in using it to jazz up next year's contest a bit, I'd be happy to try to work something out.
