It is Friday and Fridays are for fun. Earlier this week I had the privilege of spending a couple of hours with some out of state visitors. Since my office is downtown I took them on a tour of Lowertown, in downtown St. Paul (I only recently learned that “downtown” always mean Minneapolis unless it is followed by the words Saint and Paul)
I of course had to show them our newly renovated but not fully utilized Historic Union Depot which of course is also the home of the world’s largest picture make of Lite-Brite pegs.
“The largest Lite-Brite picture used 596,897 pegs and was created by Ta-coumba Aiken (USA) in Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA, and unveiled on 16 February 2013.” [Guinness world records]
I felt as though my guests were unimpressed with the display. It is their loss. Have you seen the world’s largest Lite Brite display yet?
