It is almost over

It is Friday and Fridays are for fun and like many or maybe even most people I can not wait until the election is over.  I was particularly annoyed when I put an update on my Facebook page that had nothing to do with politics and a couple of people started arguing on my wall using the worst of the not even true and really stupid talking points that the political parties use to keep the unwashed and not always intelligent masses whipped up into a frenzy so they will vote against one candidate by voting for another.

If I were to suggest using I would be told that they are tools of the media.  I finally stopped the argument on my wall by pointing out that I have never discussed politics on Facebook or any place else on the internet and if my friends want to talk politics they can do it on their own walls.

In honor of friday and fun I am sharing my favorite election related someecards: - Your political Facebook status updates totally changed my opinion on the issues. Said no one. Ever. - - That automated political call that I received at 9 pm last night changed how I am going to vote. Said no one ever.

Thanks for letting me get that all off my chest.  I feel much better now.  I can’t wait until 2016 said no one ever . .

  1. Teresa I’ve actually stopped using Facebook altogether until after the election (maybe) because I find myself hating friends I didn’t know I hated.

I can relate. I have avoided some friends on Facebook and I do not feel the same way about them as I used to.
