Isn't it nice when valentines day lands on the weekend?

I couldn't figure out how to take a picture of a heart but I found this nice red valve downtown and it kind of reminds me of a heart.  Hearts are  messy looking so it is probably better that I photographed the valve. 

A few weeks ago I started a photo blog. I got the whole thing up and running one very cold Saturday night. It is just for fun.  I learned how to take pictures because of this blog. After three and a half years of taking them almost every day I think my photography skills have improved.

The new blog has some of the same photos on it as this blog does and so far I have not needed to take any photos for it. I can create a weeks worth of posts for it in less than an hour which is a good thing because I don't have time for another blog. 

You can find it at StPaulPhotos.com I bought the domain name a couple of years ago and parked it. I had planned on selling it but decided to keep it.
