Downtown St. Paul

by Teresa Boardman, on 21 February 2009

Seventh Place

The photo was taken on 7th street downtown but this part of 7th street is called 7th place. The area has come to life over the past few years with all the restaurants. During the summers there are tables and chairs for outdoor dining and on Thursdays there is farmers market.  The building in the center of the photo is part of Travelers insurance built in this century, to the right the building are from the late 1800's and to the left the buildings were built in the 1900's. It makes for an interesting contrast with the different styles.

  1. Teresa, that is an absolutely gorgeous picture and it seems almost surreal. (of course I’m not a big fan of cold and snow)
