I get the same question from the sellers I work with every November and that question is: 'Should be take our home off the market until after the holidays?'
This year my answer is: 'It depends'
It is true that activity slows during the holidays. There are usually not as many homes on the market and there are not as many people looking at homes. It is also true that homes sell for slightly more in the spring, well at least they used to.
I don't know how to advice my sellers. I don't know if home prices will be higher in the spring or if the economy will be better or worse. My only thought on the subject is that sellers have a far better chance of selling their home if it is on the market. I can safetly predict that St. Paul homes will be sold during the holiday season. Maybe yours will, maybe it won't.

I also advise my clients to keep decorations to a minimum during the holiday season. They can definitely make a house feel smaller and cramped.
I don’t know what business will be like in the spring either, but I do know that the image you posted here is absolutely gorgeous!!! Makes me want to be there. You have really gotten to know that camera and you’re seeing the light like a pro. Bravo!
Thanks Norm. I just found it. I took it a few months ago to try out a new wide angle lens. I wanted a big landscape so that I could play with it. The river was perfect that day and I am not sure why I never published the photo.
Did you buy the wide angle, and if so, which one?
Norm – I did buy the lens. I use it for taking interior photos of my listings. Tokina 12-24mm Wide-Angle Lens for Canon. It seems to focus fairly fast, but not fast enough LOL and goes fairly wide before I get any distortion. It is a heavey duty lens and it weights close to 2 pounds so I rarely take it with when I travel. I have kind of a love hate realtionship with it but would recommend it and I would buy it again. Lucky for me the last time I took it some place my husband carried my camera bag.
