It is Friday and Friday’s are for fun. I am calling this bad photo Friday. I don’t want to insult my friends who took these pictures because all are excellent photographers. Unfortunately there is only one side of the camera that I like to be on. They all know it so they take pictures when I am not looking. I tend to move around a lot so many of the shots taken were blurry. These sneaky photographers did better than most. The photos were taken a week ago at the Inman connect conference in San Francisco. I was a speaker in the conference and I write a weekly column for Inman News.
My friend Jeff Turner apparently took this while I was taking pictures. Pretty sneaky I would say. To think I was going to keep his secret about the shoe shopping thing. Ha! Jeff is the president of the company that makes Real Estate Shows a product I use for all of my listings, and for smokestack demolitions.
I may have posed for this one, or at least I was aware that it was being taken. I just remember putting the glasses on because all the camera’s in the room were making me nervous. Taken by my friend Jay Thompson, of Thompson Realty, better know as the phoenix real estate guy. Yes I wear two pair of glasses. No one seems to get that one pair are so I can read and the other are sun glasses. It makes perfect sense to me, yet I get the strangest looks.
I balance my camera on a mail box because I didn’t bring a tripod. The shot was taken by my friend Kristal Kraft who had to comment on my ability to dress in such a way that I kind of blended in. I got a few of her that she has not seen yet, I am waiting for the right time to publish them. LOL When I travel I end up using just about anything as a tripod for taking shots at night. I got some good ones that night too, and so did Kristal. Hers were better than mine, but don’t tell her I said that.
I have met so many wonderful people who live in my computer, like the people who took these photos. I plan to meet more but I hope they leave their cameras at home.
Have a great weekend.

I agree, my favorite side of the camera is the backside. As per you publishing photos of me…no worries…it’s all about T not me!
No worries, until I get my computer back and can publish photos quickly again.
T,
First, we have to be sneaky or you get snarky. We don’t like you when you’re snarky, so we don’t have many options. Second, you and cameras were made for each other and it was a pleasure to spend just a few moments taking photos with/of you.
By the way, my wife loves the shoes YOU picked out for me. She knew I could not have chosen those by myself.
You are so at home behind the lens. (ps. love the new look…sorry to say I haven’t been by in awhile)
Got – if you are not stopping by any more I guess I’ll have to quit writing the blog.
Jeff – It was a pleasure for me as well. I am not much of a shoe shopper but I felt your pain.
I am happy the Rocky likes them, that is all that really matters when it comes to shoes.
Snarky? me?
ha ha – my husband and I BOTH wear our sunglasses under our reading glasses – glad someone else gets it!
Hope all’s well in the great north
