The picture is of the dome in the State capitol building. I was up late dealing with various real estate emergencies and a blog problem so I didn’t get to write, instead I am sharing a couple of photos that I have not published.
Part of the Minnesota house of representatives chambers. I need to go back with a wide angle lens and a tripod and do it right.
I am not sure why but it seems like children in school and tourists are the only people who visit the state capitol building. It is worth a look. Cass Gilbert designed the building and he really knew what he was doing. It is magnificent. located at: 75 Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., St. Paul, MN. For more information about the building visit the MN Historical Society web site.

It’s really hard for me to feel bad about your blog problem and emergencies when it forces you to share beautiful photos like this!
thanks Cooper, I hate it when I don’t get to write.
Preach it! Lexi and I checked out the Capitol a few weeks ago (& we encountered only school children & Al Franken). It was pretty amazing.
It’s one of those things I think everyone should get a chance to see, but I’m guessing most people don’t (unless you’re a politician or a school child).
Wow! The dome almost looks like an inverted Fabrege’ egg.
Aloha,
Keahi
