Too bad it is called milkweed. It is a wild flower. They grow in sandy soils. Monarch butter flies live off of them. They got there name becasue of the milky like latex in the leaves. I don’t consider them weeds and have a few that I let grow in my yard. I have a butterfly garden. Most people call them weeds and pull them out. They are easy to grow, they grow like weeds. They never need to be watered. The trick is to control them. Any plant that grows where it isn’t wanted is a weed.
I’ll be back later with some photos of the smokestack implosion . . . at least I hope so.
