  1. Memorial Day is one of my favorite holidays. I like the chance to reflect on my loved ones who have passed and think abou those who gave all in defense of our country. It also makes me want to be a better person the rest of the year and to make sure I am on the right track! Thanks for the great photo!

    Thanks so much for that comment. I really feel guilty each Memorial Day because I don’t feel like I do enough to remember our veterans. They have done so much to secure our freedoms.

    Veterans are perhaps the most under appreciated group of people. If our country is at war, I think a percentage of our Congress should have to be on the front lines — or their son in their place.
