Every year there is an Easter Egg hunt in Irvine Park, it is put on by an Irvine Park Association and people who live around the park participate, no matter what. They did come out, in their Easter finery covered with coats, mittens and boots. The kids loved it, even though they had to trudge through the snow to find the eggs.

I didn’t even see you there! It was a lot of fun, even if the kids are older and Easter came awfully early this year. Traditions like that are why I love the ‘hood.
Teresa, I have been stalking your blog for quite a while now (still don’t have mine “perfected” enough to debut but that’s a different story). I had to leave a comment about those Easter pictures. Being an AZ native I can’t fathom Easter with snow on the ground! It is beautiful there. It is also beautiful here — just different. I won’t rub it in and tell you that my daughters went swimming on Easter. Oops, did I say that!
Honestly, it shouldn’t be 87 degrees in March! It means that 110 is coming all too soon…
It is awesome to see a hunt in the snow. Here in California we put on a 50,000 egg hunt but there is definately no snow. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
