There are a number of brownstone buildings in St. Paul. Why don’t we build them like this anymore?

I completely agree with you. I live in NYC and the well maintained brownstones are absolutely beautiful. I find it funny when walking throughout the city and noticing tourists stopping just to stare at the architecture.
David – I do the same thing. It is the color of the stone and the little details that are so eye catching. I must have a hundred pictures of brownstones. I almost can’t drive by one without taking a picture.
Great picture. Its a shame that so much of the artistic nature of modern architecture has diminshed to some degree.
