Happy Friday! We made it through another week. In my case the week is just beginning. Go figure, people work all week and then want to look at houses on the weekend. This weekend I will be showing at least 20 homes. If your home is on the market, who knows I might have an offer for you.
I have never had a bus bench. Earlier this week I was accused by one of my peers of self promotion. Can you believe it? A Realtor promoting herself? It really hurt my feelings. Did you know that Realtors have feelings? Never mind that is the subject of a different post.
Back to the bus bench. The world has changed quite a bit during the last couple of years. Since I missed out on the bus bench craze I am going to put this in the sidebar of my blog so I can have a virtual bus bench. I could get a real bus bench but I don’t think it is worth the expense, and I don’t like the idea of people sitting on me and scribbling on my face.
As for the slogan it pretty much says it all, but may be a bit self promotional. At least it’s true, which is good because I don’t believe in deceptive advertising.
The potato chip graphic was designed by my friend Leanne Paynter, she is a broker in Florida and like my bus bench she is virtual. She might be real but we have never actually met in person so I can’t be sure. Either way she has been a good friend.
Several of my clients are also virtual, and live inside my computer. Tomorrow I will be spending much of the day with some people who say they live in New York, and they also live in my computer. I can’t wait to meet them, I hope they are not just 1′s and 0′s. They plan on buying a home here in Minnesota and I will let them know up front that virtual money isn’t going to work.
Have a great weekend. It isn’t going to snow this weekend and the sun is going to shine. Go out and buy some real estate, and have some fun!

Will we still be able to virtually sit on on and virtually TAG your face when you put up your virtual bus bench on a side bar?
Thanks for the laugh, Teresa, I really needed that today! I always thought Realtor advertising on bus benches was on the silly side until I saw Realtor advertising on the side of a garbage can! I much prefer your style of bus bench ad… the virtual kind (begin sarcasm) and who knows, maybe my potato chip graphic lends more credibility.
BTW, I checked and when I pinched myself it hurt so I must be real, not virtual.
Teresa, my virtual friend, tell me… if a home gets listed in the MLS and no one is there to take & upload a photo of it, does the house exist? (end sarcasm)
I want one too.lar
Boo on the face tagging!
Leanne – I know you are real. No a house does not exist if there are no pictures of it, it isn’t even really for sale without a virtual tour.
Lar – one bus bench coming up. Did you want fries with that?
