Houses and homes in the news

Dollhouse High tech homes
Homes with technology that goes beyond a working door bell and motion sensor lights.

Massachusetts Home built from big dig scraps.
In case the news has not reached every one here in fly over land the big dig is the big project in Boston that involves digging under the city to build a six to eight lane expressway.  When the city was built they did not leave enough room for roads.  What were they thinking?

The most expensive home in the world [Forbes]
There are always people who have more expensive homes than my own.  In fact most people do.

House made from an old oil tank
Not very attractive but clever.  It is fun to turn junk into something useful.  I made a chandelier for my front porch out of flower pots, juice glasses, wire and holiday decorations.  It is useful and it has the added benefit of making people laugh.

Cat house
Not what you think.

Energy efficient houses
I wonder how this all works with the high tech houses?

The white house
What the heck.  It is one of the most famous houses in the world.
